  • For Highest CTR: 81-100 characters 43%, 61-80 characters 38%, 41-60 characters 30%, 21-40 characters 25%.

How to improve your Click-Through Rate (CTR) using Google Search Console

  • Making sure an essential keywords and phrases for the web page appeared in the meta description.
  • Making sure the main keywords were first in title tags.
  • Edit meta descriptions so they were more readable and purposeful.
  • Made sure the meta descriptions were as compelling and as relevant as possible.
  • Made sure meta descriptions were no more than 135 – 160 characters long
  • Made sure title tags were 50-60 characters long, including spaces.
  • Made sure headlines (<h1> tag) were not the same as the title tag.
  • Removed identical meta descriptions and title tags.
  • Used rich snippets, in the form of Schema markup, to add elements such as visible star ratings to my results.

Tweets Now Show Up in Google Search Results

(Bloomberg) ▬ Social networking service Twitter, Inc. (TWTR) and Google (GOOG, GOOGL) Search giant announced that they will sign a partnership to allow tweets to be displayed in search results of Google. This agreement is not new. The two groups had already signed a partnership between October 2009 and July 2011, when the flow of tweets were displayed in search results of Google. The new agreement to be signed will begin in the first half of 2015 and the most watched tweets will be displayed in the results of the Web giant search engine says Bloomberg.

Twitter will benefit from the reputation of Google

With this agreement; Twitter will enjoy the reputation of Google to be more visible to users. Thus, the microblogging site traffic and increase its audience. Additionally, users who are not yet registered on Twitter will see popular tweets and why not register on the social network thereafter. Twitter could gain additional market share and generate profits.

With this partnership, Google will have access to the microblogging site’s database and its 284 million users and will be able to provide information on trends and popular topics. The agreement signed between the two groups also allows Twitter to reassure investors. Indeed, Google is about 70% of queries in the US and 90% in Europe. Twitter will also get new users to get closer to 1.3 billion Facebook users, its main competitor in the market social networks.

Twitter To Launches Redesignes Image and Video Viewing


Twitter announced the launch of a new image and video viewing Feature for Wednesday, January 30, 2013 – in particular, on profile and in search results.

  • Large photos, right on the page. Click a photo from a profile page or in search results to see a larger version of that photo without leaving the page.
  •  Video. Media galleries now include videos from Vine, YouTube, Vimeo, and other partners whose videos appear in expanded Tweets.
